We wanted to be proactive and feel more at ease following the inspection because the previous owners of our house had no problems with flooding in the basement. Since our house was only about 27 years old, we were informed that water has a propensity to seep in after about 30 years. We can’t say enough great things about our experience with Pure Maintenance Portland. From the moment we called them, they were so helpful and informative! We scheduled an appointment for RIchard (their amazing representative) came out in order to do a inspection of both our house as well as fixing any potential mold problems he found – which turned out not being much at all because it seems like this is something normal with new homes these days? Mold remediation has many different levels of standards. As with most any service, you generally will have a good, better and best, level of practices. When you sit down and look for the top tier option, most anyone in the industry would explain that an in-depth inspection along with removal of directly impacted materials, then administering a Hepa Cleanse is as good as it gets.
Once you remove the nasty wet or water damaged materials, the recommendation is to clean all the surrounding environment.
